Plasma is a ionized gas: electrons are created, accelerated and collided with CO2 and CH4 molecules to dissociate them into value added molecules, such as H2 and CO.

Our plasma discharges are under thermodynamic non-equilibrium, which means that the electrons are much more energetic than the gas itself: as a result, we dissociate CO2 and CH4 without heating the gas extensively, which increases the energy efficiency of the process.
